Endosgel^® is a sterile, cellulose-based lubricant with supportive disinfectant properties. It is used for facilitated insertion of catheters and instruments in the field of urology, particularly in the scope of endourological interventions, in connection with electro-coagulation and -resections, and for intermittent (self-)catheterization. Endosgel^® features physiological conductivity (≈ 7 to 10 mS/cm) as well as supportive disinfectant properties with regard to pathogens found on the urothelium.

Endosgel^® has good lubricating properties and facilitates the insertion of catheters and instruments into the urethra and urinary bladder, while at the same time leaving instrument lenses with a clear view. The gel is furthermore water soluble and free of lipids.

Endosgel^® is provided as an application system in the form of a sterile, ready-to-use syringe. This enables easy handling and allows direct instillation of the lubricant into the urethra. The lining of the urethra with Endosgel^® furthermore allows the friction between the instrument used and the urethra to be reduced, thereby preventing injuries to the greatest possible extent. At the same time, Endosgel^® features supportive disinfectant properties with regard to pathogens found on the urothelium, which can prevent urinary tract infections.

mediNiK^® is an innovative hydrogel that increases the effectiveness of endoscopic kidney stone removal after lithotripsy. After the kidney stones have been disintegrated, fragments of various size remain. When these have a diameter of less than one millimetre, it has not so far been possible to retrieve them effectively with a conventional grasping instrument.mediNiK^® consists of 2 hydrogel components in pre-filled sterile syringes. The two components of the hydrogel are injected in succession around the stones through the working channel of the endoscope using a catheter. mediNiK^® surrounds even the tiniest fragments and forms a soft gel shortly after injection of the second component, which can be retrieved with the aid of an endoscopic grasper. In this way, even the tiniest kidney stone fragments, also known as kidney gravel or sand, can be removed from the kidney in only a few attempts.
